Hello everyone :)
I'm pretty new to the game (1mil SP), my current ship is a drake and I have the following questions:
1. Assuming that I have a second acc char being my noctis ***** looting/salvaging every mission, is it more profitable (as in most ISK/hour) to run lvl3s or lvl4s?
2. how much tank/dps should I at least bring to run lvl4s efficiently?
3. My long term goal is flying a nightmare; should I bother skilling into HMLIIs or just spend some buck on CN HMLs?
4. if lvl4s are a viable option, is it more efficient to shoot faction missiles or should I stick to regulars?

btw: no way in hell am i setting a foot in a raven; it'S just too fugly for me to endure.

Lack of balls has never been a problem for me; in contrast to correctly assessing the point at which bravery becomes stupidity ;)
edit: i can live with not being able to run blockade/extravaganza lvl4 but from my experience, the average mission is much easier than those. if this holds true for lvl4s, could i run most of them in my drake while skipping the "too hard" ones?

actually, I completely forgot about the scorp :/
am I right in saying that by going with the CN Scorpion, you trade one launcher for two moar med slots?? also, if I use these extra slots for target painter + mwd, can I run a torpedo setup or should I stick to cruise missiles?

i think i'll go with the scorpion for now, partially because i read that it can be fitted with cheap t2 equip mostly and still perform well.
just one last question tho: why do so many people use target painters with missile bs? isn't the 30km painter range somewhat horrible when your missiles fly over 100km?

don't you dare insult my cardboard of annihalation!
as for "drake is boring": when i want action i go play a round of quake live or at least league of legends. eve pve is all about making isk to burn them in pvp (from what i can tell) and for that purpose the drake is awesomely efficient, even with my low skills.

I figured instead of opening another thread i might just continue here:
So I discovered the Tengu. From what I have read so far, it can run lvl4s almost as fast if not faster than the cnr while being much more agile and "fun". Please correct me if i'm wrong with any of the following:
- while being more expensive, the tengu is easier (and cheaper) to fit than the CNR
- while being a little lower in DPS on paper, it does as well or better than the CNR against anything bigger than frigates
- since i do not need drone skills, going from drake to Tengu is actually less skill intensive than the way up to CNR
- since i'm levelling HML rather than CML, it would be easier to switch to PVP
- a drake with decent skills is sufficient for 0.0 (ninja) belt chaining
finally, I have some more questions regarding the pve tengu fit:
as the tengu goes up to over 600m/s, would it be a good idea to fit and skill for HAMLs rather than HMLs? if so, is it a valid option to go with a webber rather than a TP for DPS? also, is overheating actually worth it? i never used it before but it seems powerful for short missions or ratting.
please keep in mind, i'm at just over 1mil skillpoints right now so getting to pewpew FAST is has some priority.
